What is spring water?
Spring water comes from an underground source of water that also flows naturally to the surface of the earth. It must be collected only at the spring, or through a borehole that taps the spring’s underground source.
What are other types of water?
Purified Water has been produced by distillation, deionization, reverse osmosis or other suitable processes while meeting the definition of purified water in the United States Pharmacopoeia. May also be referred to as “distilled water” (if produced through distillation), or with the word “drinking” in its name, i.e. “purified drinking water.”
Mineral Water contains a minimum of 250 parts per million of total dissolved solids, which must be present at the point of emergence from the source. No minerals can be added.
Sparkling Bottled Water contains the same amount of carbon dioxide (carbonization) that it had as it emerged from its source. No minerals can be added.
Artesian Water and Artesian Well Water is water from a well that taps a confined aquifer (a water-bearing underground layer of rock or sand) in which the water level stands at some height above the top of the aquifer.
Well Water is taken from a hole in the ground that taps a water aquifer.
Soda Water, Seltzer Water, Tonic Water and others are classified as soft drinks, not bottled water, because they contain certain ingredients or additives, and are regulated differently than bottled water.
What do you add to your water?
We add nothing to our pure spring water. During the ozonation process, ozone is infused into the water to eliminate the presence of bacteria. The ozone adds no taste or odor to the water, and breaks down into the same oxygen that we breathe a few hours after the water is bottled.
How long can I store bottled water?
Our pure spring water is best if consumed within two years.
